All NRA muzzle loading classes will familiarize students with the correct operation and maintenance of muzzle loading firearms, along safe and proper handling and shooting. The courses are perfect for the new muzzle loading owner, and offers experienced muzzle loader owners skills reinforcement. These courses provide skills for Civil War reenactments, hunting, and muzzle loading competitive shooting. The ultimate goals of the Muzzle Loading courses are to teach the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a muzzle loading firearm safely.

Aero-Tech Firearms Inc. provides all firearms, shooting supplies, targets and needed documentation along with the NRA course materials. You do not need to own muzzle loader equipment to participate in these courses.

Any person of good character who is not legally disqualified from possessing a firearm in the U.S. can attend these classes.Those under 21 must be accompanied by parent or adult guardian.

NRA Muzzleloader Training for Pistol

Our team of NRA Certified Muzzle Loading Pistol Instructors will teach this course over 12 hours. Please note that depending on the class size and participation the instructors may adjust lesson time to assure sufficient skill development.

Instruction includes:

• Muzzle Loading Pistol Knowledge and Safe Gun Handling
• Safe and proper Muzzle Loading Pistol loading procedures
• Fundamental of Safe Muzzle Loading Pistol Operations
• Fundamentals of Muzzle Loading Pistol Marksmanship
• Proper Cleaning and Storage of Muzzle Loading Pistols
• Firing the First Shots
• Muzzle Loading Pistol Sports and related activities along with advice on selection of a muzzle loading pistol

This course combines classroom instruction along with live fire range time appriximately 24 fired shots. Aero-Tech Firearms Inc. provides all firearms, shooting supplies, targets and needed documentation along with the NRA course materials.

Those who wish to bring their own equipment will need:

• Safe muzzle loading pistol
• Loading supplies for at least 24 shots
• Eye protection
• Ear protection
• Cleaning materials.

Fee: $95.00/person. Pre-registration is required.

NRA Muzzleloader Training for Rifle

Our team of NRA Certified Muzzle Loading Rifle Instructors will teach this course over 12 hours. Actual class length is dependent on class size and participation to assure sufficient skill development.

Topics include:

• Muzzle Loading Rifle Knowledge and Safe Gun Handling
• Safe and proper Muzzle Loading Rifle loading procedures
• Fundamental of Safe Muzzle Loading Rifle Operations
• Fundamentals of Muzzle Loading Rifle Marksmanship
• Proper Cleaning and Storage of Muzzle Loading Rifles
• Firing the First Shots
• Muzzle Loading Rifle Sports and related activities along with advice on selection of a muzzle loading rifle

NRA Muzzleloader Training for Shotgun

Our team of NRA Certified Muzzle Loading Shotgun Instructors will teach this course over 10 hours. Please note that depending on the class size and participation the instructors may adjust lesson time to assure sufficient skill development.

Topics include:

• Muzzle Loading Shotgun Knowledge and Safe Gun Handling
• Safe and proper Muzzle Loading Shotgun loading procedures
• Fundamental of Safe Muzzle Loading Shotgun Operations
• Fundamentals of Muzzle Loading Shotgun Marksmanship
• Proper Cleaning and Storage of Muzzle Loading Shotguns
• Firing the First Shots
• Muzzle Loading Shotgun Sports and related activities along with advice on selection of a muzzle loading rifle

This course combines classroom instruction along with live fire range time; approximately 16 fired shots. Aero-Tech Firearms Inc. provides all firearms, shooting supplies, targets and needed documentation along with the NRA course materials.

Those who wish to bring their own equipment will need:

• Loading supplies for at least 16 shots
• Eye protection
• Ear protection
• Cleaning materials.
